Taste Contemporary presents, Harvest Moon, a group show featuring the work of Akiko Hirai, Ernst Gamperl, Kazuhito Takadoi and Ptolemy Mann.
Japanese artist Akiko Hirai has received international acclaim for her expressive and powerful interpretation of the Moon Jar. Also from Japan, the work of Kazuhito Takadoi combines the formality of Eastern discipline with abstraction from Western art. Over many years, German artist Ernst Gamperl has achieved an extraordinary understanding of wood. This has allowed him to create organic vessel forms in materials such as maple and ash, while the US born artist Ptolemy Mann captures powerful ‘colourfields’ within her hand dyed and woven works.
Due to COVID sanitary measures the exhibition is only open by appointment.
